Kim and I are not into entertaining; however, we still enjoy a good drink. Sipping a glass of champagne or wine while sitting on the sofa together is our idea of a perfect night.

Whether you like to be surrounded by friends or have an intimate night with your significant other, this drink is right up your alley. It is the perfect mix of bubbly champagne and grenadine similar to our Chambord and Prosecco.

The flavors are sweet on your palate and will even mix well with a light dessert. Keep in mind, due to the drink’s sweetness; it will take a rather sugary dessert to avoid any bitter aftertastes.

We choose to have this beverage as our dessert while enjoying each other’s company snuggling on the couch. It’s a wonderful way to spend an evening after a long day of work.

With that being said, it can also be served to a large group of friends or loved ones celebrating a special event. Its fruity and refreshing flavors make it an excellent drink to cap off a dinner party.

As you will notice from the recipe, this mixed drink only has two ingredients so making it is a breeze. It should be noted the listed measurements are for one serving.

You would need to multiply the amounts by the number of guests in order prepare more than one drink.

A word of advice when it comes to mixing things up, champagne is extremely carbonated. Chances are it will bubble over in the glass if you don’t use a steady hand.

I used the same method when pouring the champagne as I do when pouring a beer with a lot of head. Tilt the glass towards the mouth of the measuring cup or shot glass as you pour.

Let the liquid slowly slide down the inside of the flute and it should cut down on the amount of “head” from the champagne.

All in all, Kim and I are very pleased with this little glass of happiness. It combines two great flavors and can serve as a dessert if needed.

The champagne and grenadine spritzer has to be one of our favorite simple recipes. We wish we had more diversity in our pictures for this one because we don’t think these do it justice.

We can only hope you give this one a chance and try it out. Kim and I are sure you will enjoy sipping this perfect blend of booze, bubbles, and pomegranate goodness.

As always, we wish everyone a long life, everlasting love, a full tummy, and hopefully, with this recipe an evening of intimacy and passion. Cheers!

How to Make a Champagne Grenadine Spritzer:

Are you ready for this complicated beast of a recipe?! Here we go!

In a 2 cup mixing glass, measure out the champagne and then add it to the flute. Afterward, measure out the grenadine and add that to the champagne glass.

You could also use a shot glass for measuring. Just remember my little tip from above to avoid overflow from the bubbly. Once you have the liquids in the flute, take a sip and relax.
