Our ham flatbread recipe combines the flavors of cured ham, sweet colorful peppers, creamy ranch dressing and rich mozzarella cheese.

There are times, mostly after holiday meals, when you just want something easy and comforting.

We have all been there, the day after a big celebration, staring into our refrigerators searching for a simple and delicious dish.

You are exhausted, and the last thing want is another plate of leftovers. For today’s recipe, we’re sharing our ham flatbread using leftover ham.

This ham and cheese flatbread uses leftover ingredients to create something new and fresh!

Best of all, you can even make your own homemade spicy ranch dressing. That extra kick of spices with take this cheesy flatbread to the next level.

With Easter arriving in the coming weeks, we decided it was the perfect time to share this recipe with everyone.

How to Make Ham and Cheese Flatbread?

I know I say this a bunch, but once again, this recipe is easy peasy to make. All you have to do is a few simple steps, and then you will be enjoying your a warm and cheesy meal.

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. and then dice your ham, peppers, and onions.

Go ahead and set them aside in a bowl. Next, take a large sheet pan or silicone baking mat and place the flatbread on the pan.

Ranch dressing spread evenly over the flatbread.

Then, evenly spread the ranch dressing onto the bread using a wooden spoon.

Diced ham sprinkled on top of the ranch dressing.

Afterward, layer the ham, and vegetables, making sure to cover almost all the flatbread.

The following step is to sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the meat and veggies.

With the toppings in place, pop the flatbread into your preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until all the cheese is melted.

Last, remove the finished dish from the oven and slice it into four equal servings.

The ham flatbread has baked and is ready to serve.

Ham Flatbread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 large flatbread
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 6 ounces ham, diced
  • 1 ½ cup bell peppers, any variety; diced
  • ¼ cup purple onion, diced
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven 350°F.
  • On a large sheet pan or silicone baking mat, place flatbread. Spread ranch dressing over flatbread.

  • Then add the ham. Layer onions and peppers on top of ham. Generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese over vegetables and meat.
    6 ounces ham
    1 ½ cup bell peppers
    ¼ cup purple onion
    8 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • Place in preheated oven and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese has melted. Remove from oven and slice into 4 equal sized pieces and serve while hot.

  1. We are having this for dinner with a salad. I’m trying guacamole ranch instead, adding some grape tomatoes. Nice change from our typical ham and veggie with tomato sauce/mozarella pizza night. Good way to use up holiday leftover ham!
