Get the Recipe

Cook the sausage until brown and no longer pink.

Add flour, butter, pepper, salt and cayenne. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Whisk in the milk, and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Allow the gravy to thicken, then remove from heat.

Cut the biscuits into fourths and lay them into the prepared baking dish.

Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuits.

Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits start to poke out of the top and turn a light golden color.
