Easy Mississippi Mud Cake

With gooey marshmallows & homemade fudge icing, this Mississippi Mud Cake is just so decadent!

Ingredients

For the Cake... – devil’s food cake          mix  – eggs – instant chocolate          pudding – sour cream – canola oil – water – coffee – pure vanilla extract – marshmallows

Ingredients

For the Icing... – unsalted butter – cocoa powder – vanilla extract – kosher salt – heavy cream – powdered sugar

Step 1

Combine cake mix, eggs, pudding mix, sour cream, water, oil, coffee & vanilla extract.

Step 2

Bake in a cake pan for 30-40 minutes.

Step 3

Top cooked cake with marshmallows & bake until they begin to puff.

Step 4

While the cake is cooling, combine melted butter & cocoa powder in a bowl.

Step 5

Add vanilla extract, powdered sugar & salt. Mix thoroughly. Slowly mix in heavy cream.
