Flat Iron Steak
Place salt, pepper, Italian seasonings, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.
Stir to combine, then set aside.
Place the steak in a dish or container.
Coat the steak with the seasoning mix ensuring that all of the seasoning is used.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat, and melt the butter in the pan.
Add the steak to the hot pan. Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or to your desired doneness.
Allow the steak to rest for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with steamed vegetables or a salad.
