Ground Beef Rice Casserole

Place oil, onions, and ground beef in a large skillet.

Cook until the ground beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease.

Add broth, long grain white rice, tomato paste, onion powder, garlic powder, chili, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture.

Stir until the ingredients are well combined. Cover and cook at a simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.

Uncover, and stir the cooked rice and ground beef.

Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, and cover again.

Allow the residual heat to melt the cheese. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
