How To Activate Yeast
Heat water to 110 - 115ºF. Add the yeast and sugar.
Stir the mixture to ensure the yeast is submerged in the water.
Allow the yeast mixture to set, undisturbed, for about 10 minutes.
The mixture will become tan in color and begin to bubble.
The activated yeast will be foamy and light in color when it's ready to use.
