Lemon Curd

Treat your taste  buds to something special with this Lemon Curd!

Ingredients

– cold water – cornstarch – granulated sugar – kosher salt – egg yolks – lemon zest – lemon juice – unsalted butter

Step 1

Combine water, cornstarch, sugar, salt & egg yolks in a saucepan over medium heat.

Step 2

Stir vigorously to mix.

Step 3

After filling thickens, whisk in lemon zest & juice. Boil for 1 minute.

Step 4

Remove from heat & stir in butter. Allow to cool. Pour through a mesh sieve.

Step 5

Transfer to a container & cover with plastic. Refrigerate to cool completely.
