First, remove your butter, cream cheese, and egg from your fridge and allow them to soften and come to room temperature.
Next, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. and prep a cookie sheet or a silicone mat.
Now, using a stand or hand mixer, beat the butter and cream cheese until fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add the sugar and mix another 2-3 minutes until light in color
Then, add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
