In a small bowl, combine the Old Bay, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, and salt. Set aside.
1 teaspoon seafood seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, ¼ teaspoon salt
Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry with paper towels. Brush all sides with oil, then sprinkle with the seasoning blend. Gently press the seasoning onto the fish.
1 ½ pounds mahi mahi fillets, 2 tablespoons avocado oil
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Line the basket with parchment paper or lightly spray with non-stick spray.
Arrange the fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges and your favorite sides.
Notes
We used four 6-ounce mahi mahi thawed (previously frozen) fillets, and they were cooked in an Instant Pot Brand Vortex 6-quart air fryer.
Adjust the cook time as needed depending on the thickness of the filets.
Old Bay is salty. If you're watching your sodium intake or worried the fish will be too salty, consider reducing the amount of Old Bay or omitting the added salt.
