Combine the strawberries and ¼ cup of sugar in a medium bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to break down the strawberries as much as possible. Then, set aside.

For the Lemonade
In a small to medium saucepan, stir together the water, guava juice, the remaining sugar and honey. Bring it to a boil over medium high heat, while stirring occasionally. Once the sugar dissolves, remove the pan from heat and set aside to cool completely.
3 cups water, 3 cups guava nectar, ⅓ cup honey, ¾ cup granulated sugar
Add the macerated strawberries to a large pitcher. Then, pour in the cooled guava mixture along with the lemon juice. Stir well.
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Serve over ice and enjoy!
