Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Pour in the Bailey's, vodka, half and half, and simple syrup if using.
Ice, 2 ounces Bailey’s Chocolate Liqueur, 1 ounce vodka, ½ to 1 ounce simple syrup, ½ ounce half and half
Shake for 10-15 seconds until very cold. Add chocolate syrup to the martini glass if desired.
Strain the martini into the chilled glass, add any extra garnishes, and serve.
