Add the rice and ½ cup of cheese, and stir to combine.
3 cups cooked long-grain white rice
Transfer to the baking dish, and top with the remaining 1 ½ cups of cheese.
Bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
The calories listed are an approximation based on the ingredients in the recipe card and a serving size of 1.5 cups of taco bake. Actual calories will vary.
Technically, the dish could be served after the ingredients are mixed on the stove top. Just make sure everything is bubbling hot then add the remaining cheese and let it melt. You can skip the oven all together.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
