Ingredients
For the Cherry Base:

vanilla ice cream

frozen sweet cherries
thawed 5–10 minutes
½
cup
whole milk
plus more as needed
1 to 3
tablespoons
maraschino cherry juice
For the Garnish:
Chocolate syrup
or Magic Shell
Whipped cream

for topping
Instructions
Drizzle chocolate syrup (or Magic Shell) inside each glass and pop them in the freezer.
Chocolate syrup
Add the ingredients for the cherry base to the blender, and blend until thick and creamy.
3 cups vanilla ice cream,
2 cups frozen sweet cherries,
½ cup whole milk,
1 to 3 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
Pour into the prepared glasses. Top with whipped cream, more chocolate drizzle, and a cherry.

Notes
The calories listed are an approximation based on the ingredients and 12-ounce milkshake.
I like to use Hershey's or Smucker's Magic Shell, but chocolate syrup also works.
The chocolate is totally optional. If you don't have it, simply skip it and you'll have a tasty cherry milkshake!
Adjust the milk to get the shake to your desired consistency.
