½teaspoonvanilla extract
½cupeggnog
½cupwhole milk

Instructions
For a Hot Eggnog Latte
Brew the coffee or prepare 2 to 3 ounces of espresso. Pour it into a large mug, then stir in the brown sugar and vanilla until the sugar dissolves.
1 cup strong brewed coffee, 1 to 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Add the eggnog, milk, and nutmeg to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the mixture begins to lightly simmer, then remove it from the heat.
½ cup eggnog, ½ cup whole milk, ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Use a milk frother, immersion blender, or whisk to froth the warm eggnog mixture until lightly foamy.
Pour the eggnog mixture over the coffee and stir gently to combine.
Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired.
For an Iced Eggnog Latte
Brew the coffee or prepare 2 to 3 ounces of espresso. Let it cool, then stir in the brown sugar and vanilla until the sugar dissolves.
1 cup strong brewed coffee, 1 to 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Stir together the cold eggnog, milk, and nutmeg.
½ cup eggnog, ½ cup whole milk, ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Fill a large glass with ice. Pour the coffee mixture over the ice, then add the eggnog mixture.
Stir and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired.
Notes
This latte is creamy and lightly sweet. Start with less brown sugar, then add more after tasting if needed. If you opt for espresso, use only 2 to 3 ounces so the coffee does not overpower the eggnog.
Cold brew works well in place of brewed coffee or espresso for the iced version.
Either store-bought or homemade eggnog works.
If you don’t have a milk frother, use an immersion blender or whisk the warm mixture until lightly foamy.
