Add the lime juice, mint leaves, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and agave nectar to a cocktail shaker or tall mason jar. Gently muddle until the berries break down and release their juices.
Add 1 cup of ice. Cover and shake until the outside of the container feels cold.
1 cup ice
Strain the berry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into two glasses filled with fresh ice. Gently press the fruit with the back of a spoon to release the remaining juice.
Top each glass with ginger ale. Garnish with fresh berries, mint leaves, or lime wedges, and serve immediately.
1 cup ginger ale
Notes
Let frozen berries thaw until soft enough to muddle before using.
Adjust the agave or honey to taste based on the sweetness of the berries and ginger ale.
For a less sweet drink, replace some or all of the ginger ale with club soda or sparkling water.
To prepare the drink ahead, muddle the berries, mint, lime juice, and sweetener. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours, then shake with ice, strain, and add the ginger ale just before serving.
