Mixed Berry Mocktail
This mixed berry mocktail combines raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, fresh lime, mint, and fizzy ginger ale. It’s fruity, refreshing, and ready in about 10 minutes.

I decorated the photos for Christmas, but the drink itself isn’t tied to the holidays. It works just as well for summer cookouts, baby showers, parties, or anytime you want an easy alcohol-free drink that feels a little more upscale than soda.
How to Make a Mixed Berry Mocktail
Add the raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, lime juice, mint leaves, and agave to a cocktail shaker or tall mason jar. Gently muddle until the berries break down and release their juices.

Give the mint only a few firm presses. Muddling it too aggressively can make the drink taste bitter.
Add the ice and shake until the outside of the container feels cold. Strain the berry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into two glasses filled with fresh ice. Gently press the fruit with the back of a spoon to release the remaining juice without pushing too much pulp into the glasses.

Top each drink with ginger ale, then garnish with fresh berries, mint, or a lime wedge. Add the ginger ale just before serving so this sparkling berry mocktail stays cold and fizzy.

Can You Use Frozen Berries?
Fresh or frozen berries work in this berry mocktail. Let frozen berries thaw until they’re soft enough to muddle before adding them to the shaker.
Avoid trying to crush them while they’re still frozen solid. They won’t release enough juice and can be difficult to break apart.
Adjusting the Sweetness
Agave works especially well in cold drinks because it blends in without leaving a grainy texture. Honey also works, although it may take a little more shaking to dissolve.
The sweetness can vary depending on the berries and the brand of ginger ale you use. For a less sweet drink, replace some or all of the ginger ale with club soda or sparkling water.
Make It Ahead
You can muddle the berries, lime juice, mint, and agave a few hours ahead. Cover the mixture and keep it refrigerated.
When you’re ready to serve, shake it with ice, strain it into the glasses, and add the ginger ale. Once the ginger ale is added, the mocktail is best served right away before it loses its fizz.
