In a food chopper or food processor, combine the pecans and brown sugar. Pulse until the pecans are finely chopped then transfer to a shallow bowl.
¼ cup pecans, ¼ cup light brown sugar
Pour the maple onto a small plate and dip the rim of the martini glass in the syrup.
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Gently dip the top of the martini glass into the brown sugar-pean mixture. Give it a small twist. Refrigerate the glass until ready to use.

Notes
The calories listed are an approximation based on the ingredients and a serving size of 1-drink. Actual calories will vary. Also, keep in mind you will most likely not use all of the garnishments for 1-serving.
If you are unable to find pecan vodka, try using butter pecan liqueur (we like Sugarland's Sippin' Cream). Since it's cream based, you might want to consider reducing the heavy cream a bit.
