Butterscotch Sauce

Kim’s homemade old fashioned butterscotch sauce creates a buttery sweet topping perfect ice cream, cake, and all sorts of desserts!

Ingredients

– unsalted butter – dark brown sugar – heavy whipping        cream – kosher salt – vanilla extract

Step 1

Combine butter, brown sugar, cream & sea salt.

Step 2

Stir the mixture to combine the ingredients.

Step 3

Stop stirring and let the liquid come to a boil.

Step 4

Allow to cool, then stir in the vanilla.

Step 5

Transfer to a covered container.  Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
