Carrot Cake

Our moist Carrot Cake is an easy-to-make recipe that’s 100% homemade and perfect for any special occasion or holiday.

Ingredients

Cake: – all-purpose       flour – baking powder – baking soda – ground       cinnamon – ground nutmeg – ground ginger – salt – light brown       sugar

Ingredients

Cake Continued: – crushed        pineapple – sugar – canola oil – applesauce – vanilla extract – eggs – carrots

Ingredients

Frosting: – cream cheese – powdered sugar  – unsalted butter  – vanilla extract – chopped pecans

Step 1

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger & salt.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, combine the sugars, oil, eggs, pineapple, applesauce & vanilla.

Step 3

Add the grated carrots to the wet ingredients & stir.

Step 4

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry. Stir until combined.

Step 5

Transfer to two round pans & bake 30-40 minutes.

Step 6

Cream the frosting ingredients together & top the cake as desired.
