Congo Bars

Rich and chewy, and of course loaded with chocolate, these decadent Congo Bars are the perfect dessert for any chocolate lover.

Ingredients

– unsalted butter – light brown sugar – sugar – eggs – vanilla extract – flour - baking powder – salt – milk & semi-sweet       chocolate chips

Step 1

Cream together the butter, sugar & brown sugar.

Step 2

Add eggs & vanilla. Beat until incorporated.

Step 3

Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder and salt until a thick dough forms.

Step 4

Fold in the chocolate chips. Press dough into a pan.

Step 5

Bake until lightly golden on top.
