Heat a skillet over low heat. Then, add the butter.
Allow the butter to melt completely.
Add the mushrooms. Then toss to coat.
Sprinkle in the thyme, salt, and pepper.
Continue to cook for several minutes until the mushrooms soften and reach the desired consistency.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Serve hot with freshly chopped parsley.
