Place mint leaves, blueberries, and granulated sugar into a cocktail shaker. Use a muddler to gently crush the blueberries and bruise the mint leaves.
16 mint leaves, ½ cup fresh blueberries, 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
Next, add the simple syrup, rum, club soda, and lime juice. Gently shake to combine.
6 ounces simple syrup, 4 ounces white rum, 4 ounces club soda, 2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
Strain into a cocktail glass over ice. Garnish with extra fresh blueberries and mint.
