Homemade Eggnog

Homemade Eggnog is the ultimate holiday treat. 

Ingredients

– egg yolks – sugar – whole milk – heavy cream – nutmeg – bourbon

Step 1

Whisk together the egg yolks & sugar.

Step 2

Over low-med heat, combine the milk, cream & nutmeg.

Step 3

Temper hot milk into the egg mixture.

Step 4

Pour tempered eggs back into the saucepan.

Step 5

Strain & stir in the bourbon. Refrigerate until chilled.
