This page is comprised of items you’ll find in our kitchen. They are some of our favorites, and we use them often. We trust these items and products and want to recommend them to you! Please let us know if you have any questions.
The Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer is one of our newest and most favorite additions. It’s a huge timesaver. This mixer is great for making batters, frostings, doughs, and so much more. Kitchenaid makes a wide variety of attachments (sold separately) including the pasta attachment, spiralizer, ice cream maker, and more. We highly recommend investing in a Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer. It will change the way you cook.
Kitchenaid also makes a handy 3-speed hand blender. We’ve used the hand blender to make salad dressings, smoothies, chop nuts and vegetables, make a roux, puree soups, and too many other things to list. It’s super easy to clean and comes with a drawstring bag for storing. The Kitchenaid 3-Speed Hand Blender has the time-saving kitchen tool we didn’t know we needed.
An Anti-Fatigue Kitchen Mat is great idea if you have tile or wood floors and spend a lot of time on your feet. This cushy mat adds additional padding between your feet and the hard floor. The result is less pain in your feet, knees, hips and back from standing and cooking delicious meals. If you spend more than 30 minutes at a time in the kitchen, we highly recommend purchasing one of these mats.
Sometime last year, Kim was awarded employee of the quarter at work. Her prize was anything she wanted costing $50 or less. She settled on this Hamilton Beach 450 Watt 10 Cup Food Processor. This processor purees, pulses, mixes, shreds, slices and so much more. We love it and can’t believe how long it took us to get one. Best of all, it’s affordable.
We don’t currently own a full-size blender because we live in a condo with limited space. Even still, we use a small blender often for smoothies and occasionally for whipped cream. The Hamilton Beach Single Serve Blender is a great option. It makes the creamiest smoothies and is very fast with homemade whipped cream.
We have a digital scale in my kitchen for a variety of reasons. Packaged foods and many recipes have amounts listed by volume. For example, some of our recipes call for 8 ounces of an ingredient. Other recipes may call for grams. Having a digital scale ensures you are using the proper amount to achieve the best results. If you are following a healthy lifestyle, a digital scale is vital for weighing portions. This item is a must-have for every kitchen.
The Artisan Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mats have been a great kitchen addition. Instead of using cooking spray or butter, we use these mats for cookies, biscuits, candies and many other baked goods. These mats have a non-stick surface making clean up a breeze.
The Instant Pot is our newest kitchen edition. If you are on the fence about purchasing one, I’d encourage you to go for it! We continue to add new Instant Pot recipes to our library weekly, but there the options are endless. You’ll be shocked at all the great dishes you can make with this machine. Two of our favorites are mac and cheese and spinach dip.
