Thank you for this recipe. Since we moved to The Big Island of Hawaii we have not been able to find the creamy garlic dressing we used to buy. This is a great substitute. The only change I made was to leave out the dill. I get requests for this dressing all the time.

    1. Hi, Margie! John and I are so glad you like the dressing. We’ve moved around a lot over the years, and many of our recipes came about because we couldn’t find what we were used to getting. Thanks for giving our recipe a try! 🙂

    1. Thank you Mary Anne! We’re glad you liked the dressing. The lemon juice sounds like a good addition. Have a lovely day 🙂

    1. Good morning Kim, based on our experience you can use fresh dill (finely chopped), dill pickle juice, or dill relish in place of the dried dill. I hope this information helps, have a lovely day 🙂

  2. This dressing is so good that I could just eat it by the spoonful out of the jar. Just made another batch. Thanks for posting.

    1. Hi Sue!

Thanks so much! We’re glad you enjoyed it. Gilroy Garlic from Gilroy, CA? I’ve heard there’s an amazing garlic festival there. Have a wonderful evening! 🙂
