Season chicken with salt & pepper.
Pour water & chicken broth over the chicken. Cover & cook on high for 3-4 hours.
Shred the chicken and add pasta. Cover & cook on low for 15-20 minutes.
Stir in the pesto. Top with cheese & cook 10 more minutes.
Serve warm with parmesan cheese, a sprinkle of pine nuts & fresh basil.
