Raspberry Lemon Drop
This raspberry lemon drop adds berry flavor to the classic lemon drop. It’s a bright, tart-sweet vodka cocktail that’s easy to shake up anytime.

Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini Recipe
A lemon drop is already a classic, and this raspberry version gives it a delicious upgrade. It’s still tart and bright, but the berry flavor makes it feel a little more special without being over the top.
It looks gorgeous in a martini glass, but it’s basically just a good shake, a quick strain, and you’re all done.
A lemon drop martini is all about vodka and fresh lemon juice, plus something sweet to balance it. Some versions even use triple sec for extra citrus flavor.
My favorite part about this raspberry version is the Chambord. It gives you all that berry flavor without having to muddle fresh berries. It’s so simple and oh-so-good!

Recipe Variations
- Make it more tart: Omit the simple syrup.
- Make it sweeter: Add a little more simple syrup and re-shake.
- No Chambord: Use another brand of raspberry liqueur.
- Change the rim: Granulated sugar is my favorite, but lemon sugar (sugar + lemon zest) is also great if you have it.
How to Make a Raspberry Lemon Drop
First, chill your martini glass. Using a cold glass makes the whole cocktail better.
If you want the sugared rim, run a lemon wedge around the edge of the glass. Dip the rim into some granulated sugar. Set it aside.
Next, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, fresh lemon juice, Chambord, and simple syrup.

Put the lid on and shake hard for 12–15 seconds. You want to mix the ingredients really well and get them super cold.
Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with fresh raspberries or a lemon twist, and enjoy!
Storage
This cocktail is best enjoyed right after shaking. I wouldn’t try to store it for later.
What you can store:
- Simple syrup: Keep it in the fridge in a sealed jar for up to 2 weeks.
- Fresh lemon juice: Store it fridge and use it within a few days for the best flavor.
