How to Make Boiled Peanuts

Perfect as a snack or an appetizer, these boiled peanuts are simple to make and packed with flavor!

Place peanuts and water into a large pot, and use your hands to loosen any dirt. Drain off the water, and repeat the process.

Step 1

Add the creole seasoning, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder to the rinsed peanuts.

Step 2

Pour in enough water to cover the peanuts, roughly about 4 quarts. Then, stir to combine the ingredients.

Step 3

Bring the peanut and water mixture to a boil. Then, reduce to a simmer and cover. Cook for 6-8 hours until the peanuts are tender.

Step 4

After the peanuts finish cooking, drain away the excess water and serve them warm or chilled.

Step 5

Make these boiled peanuts with your favorite seasonings and serve on your favorite occasion.
