Bacon Jam

Rich and smoky, this easy Bacon Jam is perfect for serving on a charcuterie board or for spreading on some toasted baguette slices.

Ingredients

– bacon – unsalted butter – yellow onions – bourbon – light brown sugar – kosher salt – ground black        pepper – smoked paprika – cayenne pepper – maple syrup

Step 1

Cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon & partially drain pan.

Step 2

Add butter & onions to the pan. Cook until caramelized.

Step 3

Stir in bourbon, brown sugar, salt, pepper, paprika & cayenne. Simmer 5 min.

Step 4

Stir in syrup & simmer 2-3 more minutes. Add bacon.

Step 5

Remove from heat & serve warm over toasted baguette slices.
