Pumpkin Patch Martini
This pumpkin patch martini blends pumpkin spice cream liqueur, coffee liqueur, and spiced rum for a fall cocktail you’ll make all season long.
Serve this with my Halloween snack mix and Halloween fudge for a fun cocktail and snack night.

Pumpkin Patch Martini
When fall hits, I’m all about the pumpkin spice flavor. It’s all about the bread, muffins, lattes, coffee, and of course cocktails.
This pumpkin patch martini is one of my favorites and is actually a variation of my pumpkin martini. It’s the perfect fall cocktail for all of your Halloween parties and spooky get togethers.
It’s smooth, creamy, and has just enough spice to taste like fall in a glass. I use spiced rum, coffee liqueur, and pumpkin spice liqueur. A little homemade whipped cream dolloped on the top and a dusting of ground cinnamon adds a nice touch, too.
It only takes a few minutes to make. You don’t need fancy ingredients or bar tools. Just a shaker, ice, and a martini glass. A mason jar works great, too!
This drink pairs well with my pumpkin cinnamon rolls, pumpkin pie, or even a plate of mini pumpkin bundt cakes.

Ingredients You’ll Need
This is a quick overview of the ingredients I used. The amounts are listed in the recipe card further down the page.
- Spiced rum: I used Captain Morgan Spiced Rum.
- Coffee liqueur: Kahlua is my favorite brand for this cocktail.
- Pumpkin spice cream liqueur: RumChata or a similar brand is what you’ll want to get. Any kind that has a creamy base and pumpkin spice flavor will work.
- Whipped cream: (optional, for topping).
How to Make a Pumpkin Patch Martini
Here’s a step-by-step list of instructions with photos. The printable instructions are further down the page:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the spiced rum, coffee liqueur, and pumpkin spice cream liqueur.

Put the lid on and give it a good shake until everything’s nice and cold.
Strain into a martini glass. Add a swirl of whipped cream if you like, and enjoy.
Quick Tip
Spiced rum can be quite strong, so I only used 1/2 an ounce. You can always increase it for a stronger cocktail. The same goes for the other ingredients. Adjust those to taste and make the drink stronger or sweeter if desired.

Can I make a pitcher for a party?
Yes! Multiply the ingredients by 4 or 6 and mix everything in a pitcher. Keep it chilled until ready to serve, then stir the drink well and serve over ice.
Do I have to use spiced rum?
Nope. White rum or even vanilla vodka works too. The flavor will be a little different but still delicious.
Should I rim the cocktail glass?
It’s totally optional, but it makes the drink look extra festive.
If you want to rim the glass, brush the edge with a little maple syrup or honey, then dip it in crushed graham crackers, cinnamon sugar, or even a mix of pumpkin pie spice and sugar. Chill the glass after rimming so it sets up nicely before pouring in the drink.
I’m also a fan of some whipped cream, a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, or a simple cinnamon stick.

How to Store Leftovers
This martini is best made fresh, but you can mix the base (rum, coffee liqueur, and pumpkin cream liqueur) and keep it in the fridge for a day. Shake with ice right before serving.
